Brief Safety Policy Implementation:
Any individual must have completed successfully a safe site pass course and is obliged to produce at the very least a safe pass number where the cert has not yet been issued.
New employees before beginning work on site must attend a safety induction.
All staff must be familiar with safety policy a copy of which is always made available on site
Every Monday at 2pm our site supervisor conducts a “Toolbox Talk”. There are 2 issues that are routinely dealt with:
Safety updates from main contractor which includes any recent safety issues,
Safe Plan of Action or what is commonly known as an S.P.A. In the S.P.A., which is an internal procedure, the supervisor draws up a safe plan of action for works due to be carried out in the coming days. At the end of the instructions every employee must sign acknowledgement and understanding of said proposals.
Any employee who fails to work in a safe capacity or ignores company policy is formally reprimanded and repeat offenders contracts will be terminated.
